Xiaomi 13 Ultra In White
With the Xiaomi 13 Ultra set to launch on April 18th 2023, new pictures have been released in the colour White.
Xiaomi 13 Ultra What We Know So Far
Upon examining the images, it is apparent that the back of the device is made of a fake leather, a feature that was also present on the 12s Ultra from the previous year. However, it has been recently confirmed that the 13 Ultra’s rear material is a “Second-Generation Nano-tech material” that emulates a “Classic camera leather texture.” This material boasts an antibacterial coating and is exceptionally resistant to wear and dirt, making it truly “Ultra” in its durability.
The Xiaomi 13 Ultra is now available for presale on the Chinese online store Giztop.com but customers will have to wait until April 18th to make their purchase. While the website has already listed the device’s specifications, some of the information may be slightly inaccurate due to the product not yet being officially released.
Xiaomi 13 Ultra Display
One noticeable error pertains to the type of screen featured on the device. Giztop lists the display as a “6.73-inch QHD+ LTPO E6 AMOLED display,” when in actual fact it has been confirmed that the device will feature an LTPO 2K C7 display. This upgrade provides several benefits, such as improved viewing angles, reduced power consumption, and a peak brightness of 2600 nits for the Xiaomi 13 Ultra’s display.
Xiaomi has revealed details about the camera hardware for their latest device, featuring an impressive quad camera system. The four sensors featured on the device are as follows:
- IMX989 – 1″ 50MP Leica lens (with variable aperture)
- IMX858 – 1/2.51 inches 50MP Leica telephoto lens
- IMX858 – 1/2.51 inches 50MP Leica ultra-wide lens
- IMX858 – 1/2.51 inches 50MP Leica super-telephoto lens
What’s particularly remarkable is that all of these sensors are capable of shooting in 8K, which is quite impressive. I’m eagerly looking forward to seeing this camera system in action.
This is all the official information that has been released so far, but it’s highly likely that the device will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. In addition, there are strong rumours circulating that the device will support up to 90W fast charging, utilizing a 4900mAh battery. As for colour options, it appears that there will be three choices available: green, black, and a recently announced white colour, which happens to be my personal favourite.
